afternoon sewing

I finally got those napkins I started last week sewed up this afternoon and because I have a baby shower gift to make by Saturday I figured I better do some other unplanned sewing too, just to procrastinate a little bit longer :) Here are the napkins, front:
and back (the backs are all the same print):

And just for kicks I threw together a couple of hairkerchiefs using this tute, only adjusting the size of the triangle to fit my girls (I started with an 8.5" square for Lu and a 12" square for Regan).

In other news, I chopped off all my hear today! This is what it looked like before (in case you have not seen me recently) and here it is now!
