Are these booties not the cutest thing you've ever seen? My friend Kaeli made them for Addie.

I saw the tutorial for this little arm-rest pincushion thingy and knew right away it would be the perfect Christmas gift for Miss Mary (the sweet grandma from our church who hosts the crochet group Regan and I attend on Monday nights) who seems to always be sitting in her corner chair knitting, stitching or crocheting something every time we visit. I had fun digging through my scraps in search of selvage edges with printing on them and I was able to piece the who thing together from my scrap drawer.

I finally did it!

Today it the grand opening of my very own Etsy shop! I have been thinking about it, talking about it, researching it and finally decided to take the plunge! There are a few items in there right now and I will try to be faithful to adding new items as much as possible. Head of over and check it out!

my first felted hat

Here are some pictures of the girls modeling the hat. The flower pin came from Lori Marie at Pretty Little Things and was the perfect accent for our little hat! The hot pink stripes in the girls room make the hat look red, but really it is a deep pink, I would call it fuchsia, Lion Brand calls it Rose.
I am so thrilled with how it turned out, you just might be seeing more of these!
