We spent a wonderful evening with good friends who live around the corner from us. The kids had a blast playing in the pool and jumping on the trampoline. We went for a boat ride out to the James River,
watched the sunset from their back porch,
ate ice cream cupcakes (a layer of red velvet cake, a layer of Bryers mint chocolate chip ice cream, topped with gnache and red, white and blue sprinkles) and set off 1000 noise makers in the driveway,
Had some confetti fun while we watched the neighbors backyard firework show,
And learned to ride a bike! (I think I know what she needs for her birthday coming up!)
