Is is really possible that I will be eating ripe tomatoes from my own garden... in June?!
I'm already dreaming about slicing this baby up in a couple more days. Oh, garden fresh tomatoes, how I love thee!

Garden prepared and planted. I can almost taste those July tomatoes now :)
Thanks to my hubby and kids for all their hard work this weekend.

P.S. I am so close to finishing my granny square blanket! Just a couple more nights of leaving the laundry unfolded so I can finish the ruffly edge. :) Hopefully I'll be back with pictures sometime this week.

big plans

We are hoping to beat the rain that it headed our way tomorrow afternoon and get the garden planted.

It's not a huge garden, 4' x 8', just big enough for a few tomato plants, some zucchini and herbs.

But we moved it to a new location this year and are starting from scratch.
We've got our work cut out for us!
