While my husband mowed, aerated and seeded our yard this weekend I finished the backing for my quilt and (finally) mopped the kitchen floor so I could put my quilt sandwich together.
There was just barely enough room to spread the quilt out on the kitchen floor.
I had planned to start quilting today, but then I picked up The Glass Castle (it's been on my to read list for awhile and I recently picked it up at the library) and pulled myself away from it just long enough to enjoy a bit of sunshine outside while my husband and our friend (who lent us his equipment) loaded the aerator and tractor back onto his trailer. I am off to make some dinner and while away the rest of my weekend reading. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!

That looks gorgeous!
The quilt is beautiful. When you finish the Glass Castle, I have Half Broke Horses I can send your way. Enjoy, it's a GREAT read!
