more aprons

I think I have written about how much I love aprons before. For awhile now (4 or 5 years) I have had dreams of making and selling aprons, but the idea of stating my own business is so overwhelming. Anyway, with the inception of Etsy, which makes selling handmade good so easy, and the encouragement and inspiration of a friend (who is also a homeschooling, apron loving mom), I have decided to give it a go. I have been perusing my A is for Apron book for inspiration and the other night pulled out some fabric and started cutting. I have no idea how this will turn out, as I have no experience in pattern making, but I am having fun.
Hopefully I will have an update after the weekend!

Oooooh, fun! What an exciting notion.

My friend near Lynchburg is setting up a Falconry field trip for this fall. Would you be interested in joining us? It fits her medieval theme and our Birds and Predators and Prey themes.
