I finally got a chance to stitch together my second owl today!
The only real change I made is the wings. I thought the first wings were a bit awkward, but seeing them both together I kinda appreciate the awkwardness of them.
I still don't have a name for her yet- here are some of my idea's:Penelope
Lucy
Harriet
Olive Owl (I was thinking maybe she needed a short chubby friend and they could be Olive and Ollie Owl?)

i like the plain fabric face and the small wings of the original. i think the plain face lets the cute little eyes speak more. as for names... i've been thinking since yesterday. are you going to make a chubby boy owl counterpart, or another girl?
i'm thinking of the names you have, they should be gal pals... harriet and penelope.
How did I miss this? Penelope is my favorite. And Harriet... Hatty for short. : )

I do like to one with chunkier wings! Don't get upset about the lack of comments! I am a faithful reader but have never commented and I am sure there are many others! I like the speckled face and brightly colored feet of the 2nd owl. For a name, for some reason Virginia popped into my head!

These little owls are so stinkin' cute. I like the wings on the one with the patterned fabric head, but like the solid colored fabric head best. But I think they are both totally loveable and amazing the way they are.
